Katya Troi is an artist of Russian origin from Helsinki. Katya Troi is interested in cosmic, complex intellectual movement that blends Orthodox theology with scientific forecasting. In art, Katya Troi loves to connect Earthy characters to faraway realities, galaxies and fantasy. Katya Troi uses acrylics and original Swarovski crystals to give the artworks liveness and a mystical impression. The Flying through the dream world -series imitates an imaginary journey flying over different realities and dream worlds, from daily stress to something sheerly magical. Through art, Troi wishes to balance harshness with a positive attitude. Troi’s artworks speak as artistic statements and reminders against discrimination and hate, especially in the current world-political situation. Troi is a member of the Helsinki International Artists’ Association.
OAF curators’ comments: “Katya Troi’s paintings are truly dreamlike and feel like they are from another world. The mystical works seem simultaneously far away and actual. Absolutely gorgeous and you can look at them over and over again. A recognizable artist with an own individual style, plot and technique.”
Troi’s artworks are shown at the Group Exhibition at Pertti’s Choice. More information:
