Aryan Vandi is a self-taught visual artist who employs a variety of approaches such as painting, illustration and design to create spontaneous images in analog and digital format. Vandi’s works have been exhibited internationally and they are mainly recognized for their expressive and stylized personality, embodied with various characterized figures and hidden narratives. Vandi describes the artworks as pieces of a big puzzle in which they all connect to form a unified story. Vandi has released the Catus Maze on Instagram, creating a gameworld-like concept, which creates order for spontaneous visual thinking. Vandi studies at Aalto University and works as a freelance illustrator and art educator, organizing workshops and courses for children and adults.
