Pekka “UncleSamPatriot” Luodeslampi is a fitness-boxing “superhero,” performance artist, and social media comedian who began his career on YouTube in 2007. He now has 88,000 followers on TikTok, 3.1 million likes, and over 80 million views. Through his art, Luodeslampi aims to create boundary-breaking, absurd humor that can bring joy to people everywhere, regardless of language or culture. Above all, he wants to encourage everyone to boldly be themselves!
To the festival Luodeslampi brings a performance that challenges traditional ideas of being a superhero. Luodeslampi’s superhero repertoire includes blowing up terracotta pots with explosive punching power, bending one-centimeter-thick steel bars, popping the bottoms off unopened drink cans, and destroying coconuts. In these thrilling stunts, Luodeslampi utilizes the exceptionally rapid function of his central nervous system, which has propelled him to eight Guinness World Records, two Finnish Championships, and numerous television appearances.
