Kulttuurikeskus Caisa and The House of Text, August 14, 2025, 3:00 PM–midnight
The opening of OAF 2025 will be celebrated on the Night of the Arts 14.8.2025 when OAF takes over the old Elanto’s Leipätehdas block (bread factory)!
On the opening weekend, Leipätehdas will be the venue for an experiential event, a collaboration between Outsider Art Festival, Cultural Centre Caisa and the House of Text.
At Caisa, you can see an outsider art exhibition, various performances and music acts and an installation combining ceramic sculptures and noise. At The House of Text, OAF will organize a poetry stage together with the publisher WSOY.
Opening Program at Kulttuurikeskus Caisa:
3:00 PM–5:00 PM: Opening of the group exhibition showcasing the latest currents in outsider art in Caisa’s gallery. After the opening, the gallery will remain open until 10:00 PM.
6:00 PM–8:00 PM: RÄKÄlicious, Jussi P Niinku Pekka & Vähäsähkö, Milla Heart concert in Caisa’s hall.
4:00 PM–9:00 PM: Plants installation by Ksenia Voy Kheninen & Zherbin in Caisa’s backstage area.
Throughout the evening, there will be performances by Pekka Luodeslammi, LIPGLOSSBOY, and Kaaos Company at Caisa and in the surrounding area. Opening Program at Kulttuurikeskus Caisa:

8:30 PM–10:30 PM: OAF Poetry Stage. A joint poetry stage by OAF and WSOY, exploring what “literature beyond literature” could mean. Held in Permantosali.
All Night of the Arts events are free of charge.
