Outsider Art Festival events take place in Helsinki and Espoo, but one part of the programme reaches across Finland. OAF festival broadcasts air on Tuesdays in August on Radio Helsinki as part of Pertin valinnat — in Helsinki and also in Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti and Pori.
The first special broadcast airs on Tuesday 11 August at 16:00.
The programme is hosted by music editor Miika Turunen and features highlights and picks from the festival programme, the artists behind the work and, of course, new music. Each broadcast has its own art form and guests. The broadcasts are mainly in Finnish.

VHS-klubi’s Laser disc jury can be seen at EMMA on 21 August, and EJH takes the stage at MegOAFone at Oodi on 20 August.

Works by both are on display in the Forest of Hope exhibition at Pertin Valinta x Tiketti Gallery, 20–30 August.
