Curators’ comments: “Välipakka writes thoroughly original texts that don’t shy away from tough topics. Her writing is wonderfully vivid and free. At the heart of it all is a need for expression, an avalanche of experiences and perceptions, combining speech-like language and detached narrative. The rhythm and precision of Välipakka’s writing is in a class of its own!”
