Open Call for Volunteers
The Outsider Art Festival (OAF) is looking for volunteers and partner organizations for the OAF 2025 festival. Individuals can apply to volunteer for work at the festival. Various organizations that share the festival’s values can apply to become partners. The purpose of these partnerships is to support the employment of people working on the margins. The festival employs individuals from the networks of OAF’s organizing partners: Pertin Valinta, the Autism Foundation, and Kukunori.
OAF offers volunteers the opportunity to participate in organizing festival events, gain experience in inclusive event production, and engage in meaningful encounters with the festival’s artists and working groups. Volunteers also receive free tickets to festival events.
Volunteers are needed for assisting tasks before, during, and after the festival. The festival takes place on August 14–24, 2025, in Helsinki and Espoo.

Before the festival: We need volunteers for pre-marketing and event setup.

During the festival: We need volunteers to assist with event organization.

After the festival: We need volunteers to help with dismantling the event.
Please note that the Outsider Art Festival does not cover travel or accommodation expenses.
