OAF is looking for employees and interns in the arts and culture sector for communication and event production tasks and working groups. Come and create unforgettable festival experiences with us!
The OAF festival will be held in August, starting on the Night of the Arts on August 20th. OAF is the Friend Festival of Helsinki Festivals. We offer an interesting job and internship in inclusive festival production. Working at the festival offers many new perspectives and experiences on the themes of equality, accessibility and cultural diversity. All working groups include people from special groups.
OAF is a multidisciplinary city festival, so we value applicants’ experience in music, visual arts, performing arts, literature or film productions, as well as in tasks related to the production of inspiring city events and exhibitions. Working hours can be arranged flexibly and the work can also be carried out remotely if necessary. OAF is on vacation in July and on weekends. In August, it is a good to be present in Helsinki, at least during the festival from 15 to 30 August 2026.
OAF working groups include both experienced event professionals and new creators. Interns are students who work with producers in festival communications and event production. OAF applies positive discrimination in all recruitments, so diversity and uniqueness can be beneficial in this application. OAF is an open and safe space for both artists and employees. We think that there is something special and something a little strange in all of us. Bringing it out makes everything more fun and meaningful. But of course it is also okay to be also ordinary. Everyone is needed.

OAF is bold, equal, diverse, happy and open. We expect the same active and open attitude from OAF employees. Language skills, good interaction skills, technical and production expertise and previous experience in festivals and the cultural and art sector are considered an advantage. Working hours can vary between 25% and 75%. We hope that applicants will tell us their wishes about working hours, salary and information about possible limitations and special support needs in an open application. OAF pays producers a salary in accordance with Taku recommendations and arranges personal and team supervision and sparring. Apply for an internship
Students from various fields can apply for an internship for the period 13.1.-1.9.2026. We recommend scheduling the internship between March and September. The internship is basically unpaid, but you can suggest an arrangement that suits you. We hope that applicants will tell us their wishes for the internship and information about any limitations and special support needs in an open application.
