Ondi is a Kenyan storyteller based in Pori, Finland, who explores the connection between life and human empathy through music, visual art and interactive installations. Her works aim to invite the audience to explore the characters in the stories and their motivations. Ondi describes her music as Nairobi folk.
At this year’s Outsider Art Festival we will experience a solo performance from Ondi where her unique stories will be heard as a captivating ensemble of song, ukulele and guitar.
Curators’ comments: “Unstoppable sound and incredible skill! Ondi is an artist who knows what she’s doing. Nairobi folk rules!”
