Outsider Art Festival and Runokuu (Poetry Moon Festival) will hold a joint discussion in Tekstin talo’s (House of Text) Permantosali on Friday, 15 August, 17:30–18:30.
The distinctive singer-songwriter and spoken-word poet Aatos Ketvel, who records with the band Kirsikkapuu for Minna Records, will publish a debut poetry collection with Puoliuni Publishing in autumn 2025. How does writing song lyrics differ from writing poems? What is small-scale publishing, and are there differences between independent publishing in music and poetry? Discussing these topics : Aatos Ketvel, Varjo Sarsila from Puoliuni Publishing and Minna-Kaisa Kallinen of Minna Records. Interviewer: critic Vesa Rantama.
After the discussion the evening continues at Culture Centre Caisa with the Pertin Valinta × Minna Records concert, featuring Aatos Ketvel and Tellervo Kalliainen’s band Takay-Sin.
