OAF X AURORA: Hassut Tassut

Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora, Espoo 23.8.2024 at 09:00-11:00

Hassut Tassut, workshop & concert

In the concert Duo Hassut Tassut will perform well-known children’s songs and their own material. The band’s name means “funny paws” and it comes from the lyrics of the song Faaraon kissa: “Pharaoh’s cat has sandpaper paws. When you try them, they tickle.” The duo came into being in autumn 2018, when Eeva Lusenius started her day job at Lyhty ry. The group was formed when Toni Välitalo was playing drums in Lyhty’s back room and Eeva sat down at the piano and started singing and playing classic children’s songs from the band Frööbelin palikat.

This year, the Outsider Art Festival is expanding to Espoo and will also include events for children. A concert and a workshop will be held at the Children’s Cultural Centre Aurora. The workshop is limited in number. The collaborative art work created in the workshop will be incorporated into the concert.
