The duo of Jussi P Niinku Pekka & Vähäsähkö perform experimental brainfolk in Finnish. Jussi P has been making brainfolk since 2017 and before that other kinds of music since 2006. Jussi P Niinku Pekka released his second album “Lellikkikantarellit” in the spring 2025. Vähäsähkö AKA Harri Vähänissi makes noise, ambient, sounds and rhythms with self-built electronic instruments, creating a rich soundscape to surround Jussi P’s vocals and acoustic guitar. Vähänissi is a long-time member of the experimental electronic music and art collective Koelse.
