True Equality party: The Night of the Arts 17.8.2023, 17.00 – 18:30
The pre-party of OAF Opening, True Equality party will be held at the restaurant of The National Museum of Finland at 17.00 – 18:30. The artists and partners of the OAF Festival are invited to the party but anyone can attend the event by purchasing a support ticket. Support tickets are sold through Tiketti.
During the True Equality party, the OAF 2023 Best Artist Award will be presented by the director of Outsider Art Fair Sofia Lanusse (USA), mentor of the 2023 OAF artistic working group. The programme will be in Finnish and English.
Amazing artists such as Paleface and Cepa will also perform at the event!
The True Equality event celebrates the artists and the programme of the festival and the equal collaboration of everyone. The celebration is a cocktail event. The menu will be designed by Teresa Välimäki and Sami Helle, and served by the OAF catering team, which includes members of Pertti’s Choice and Alvi ry.
The proceeds of the event will be used to employ people with special needs. The event is part of the True Equality employment programme launched by Pertti’s Choice and Kyrö Distillery. The programme is based on the premise that everyone should have equal access to the rebuilding of the culture and restaurant sector.
The event is produced by Pertti’s Choice and The National Museum of Finland. In collaboration with True Equality partners, Kyrö Distillery, Kanresta, WSOY and Radio Helsinki.
