Stella Massa is a Finnish-Karelian non-binary actress, performance artist, musician and activist. Stella Massa enjoys collective work and honest, surprising coincidences. Her works are always intertwined around or realized through activism. Stella Massa does not believe she is a self-made artist, as her friends have supported and given her numerous opportunities to make art!
At the 2024 OAF festival, Stella Massa will share her work “Kukkilintu” which combines music with video and performance art. The songs in the work deal with intergenerationality, relationship with nature, being non-binary and her Karelian roots and experiences as a granddaughter of a city-dwelling Karelian refugee.
