“Hei muuten” comic book exhibition showcases the work of eight up-and-coming cartoonists with special needs.
“Hei muuten” is a series of comic books that brings together the debut albums of eight artists. The books have been made in supported art studios all over Finland: Studio Aula and the Vallila Art Studio of the Autism Foundation in Helsinki, at Taidepesula in Pieksämäki and in Ateljee Eivori in Porvoo.

from the comics scene. Artists Joannis Clementides, Rosa Haikarainen, Anna-Stina Helander, Olli Kanninen, Maija Möttö, Riina Noro, Elias Pylvänäinen and Kenneth Wallenius all bring something special to the art and literature scene that has not been seen before.
In addition to the artists’ comic albums, the exhibition also features large prints of their works and documentary videos of the artists and the process of making the works.
