OAF Stage 12.6. features street fashion and subcultures: come experience Dead Dolls, Kalevi Helvetti, DJ Mirri and Kawaiigor!

Welcome to the OAF Stage event on Helsinki Day, June 12th, from 18:00 to 20:00!

OAF Stage in collaboration with the Dead Dolls collective and Kalevi Helvetti, DJ Mirri, and Kawaiigor. 💗

OAF Stage is an event organized by young people from Helsinki, made possible by the Helsinki Day production grant. OAF Stage offers summer jobs for youth aiming for a career in the event industry. The theme of the event is HOPE.

Dead Dolls is an art collective focused on sharing art and building community around subculture fashion. The magazine produced by the collective depicts a lifestyle you won’t see in just any magazine! Dead Dolls brings hope by inspiring people to live as their true selves, without boundaries.

Kalevi Helvetti is Pertti Kurikka’s alter ego, whose latest project also draws inspiration from Japanese aesthetics. Kalevi is currently working on the third part of his film trilogy, The Tokyo Strangler (Tokion kuristaja). Filming began in Tokyo in December and will continue on the day of the event in collaboration with Dead Dolls. The theme shirt from the trilogy’s previous film, I Survived the Plague of New York, brought hope to the event’s organizers.
