Imagine Everyday! Outsider Art Finland on the 29thNov – 26th Dec, is a showcase for Finnish outsider arts organised in collaboration with HERALBONY, Pertin Valinta (Pertti’s Choice) and the Finnish Institute in Japan. This unique collaboration features Outsider Art Festival (OAF) events around Tokyo, inviting everyone to imagine a more inclusive, diverse and sustainable future.
“We are so happy to collaborate with the amazing Heralbony team and meet local artists and audiences. I love Japan, and it has always been my dream to come to Japan one day. says Sami Helle, the founder member of PKN band and Pertin Valinta. “We want to show people that we’re not just pretty, we got brains too.”

The OAF Tokyo pop up presents Imagine Everyday! Outsider Art Finland exhibition featuring art works and products by artists Maima Tani, Kalevi Helvetti and The Lost Archives installation by Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät PKN punk band. The exhibition is co-curated by OAF and HERALBONY and exhibited in HERALBONY LABORATORY GINZA the 29th Nov -26th Dec. The exhibition is open to the public daily from 11am to 7pm, except on Tuesdays.
In addition to the exhibition OAF organises a Film screening in EuroSpace Cinema on the 30th Nov, a seminar on the 4th Dec in Design HubMidtown. On the 6th Dec, the Finnish Independence Day, Santa Claus comes to visit the artists and audiences and the audience can purchase special Christmas gifts from Pertin valinta collections.

OAF Tokyo pop up production is a collaboration with Pertti’s Choice (Pertin Valinta) Outsider Art Agency, Outsider Art Festival OAF, HERALBONY Co., Ltd. and the Finnish Institute in Japan and nominally supported by the Finnish Embassy in Japan. The event is sponsored by Saastamoinen Foundation, Frame Finland, Arts Promotion Center Finland, Finnish Film Foundation, Finnish Cultural Foundation and Autism Foundation and supported by Santa Claus Foundation.
