Timjune Tianjun Li

Timjune Tianjun Li (b. 1999), also known as Timjune, is a Helsinki-based interdisciplinary visual artist and musician who originally comes from China. Timjune is primarily focused on photography, sound, and performance. His work is an exploration of the relationships between humans and nature within our contemporary reality. By reconstructing the elements he captures, he constructs a new poetic dimension to re-imagine reality, providing a surreal perspective on the Anthropocene and other contemporary phenomena.

The works “Today, Tomorrow, and the Tales from the Wind” and “Free as Birds” at the Outsider Art Festival are multidisciplinary performances combining photography, visual arts and music. The works reflect on the ecological state of the world, individual memories and social justice. Timjune invites the audience on an immersive visual and sonic journey.
